The Name
A name with two thousand years of weight.
Ekkluo is two Greek words fused into one. ΕΚ — out of, from within, proceeding from a source. The same ek that begins ekklesia, the New Testament word for church: the called-out assembly of God's people.
ΛΥΩ — to loose, to grow slack, to become unstrung. The word Paul uses in Galatians 6:9 when he warns the church: do not grow weary in doing good. Do not ekkluo.
