Attendance & Safety
Track who’s present, who’s absent, and who hasn’t been seen in weeks, across Sunday services, midweek gatherings, small groups, and special events. When something goes wrong, the safety roster gives you every person currently on-site with their emergency contact information, in one click, and every check-in leaves an audit trail.

Children’s Check-In
Secure check-in for every child, every service. Parents receive a matching security code at drop-off. Pickup requires that code. No exceptions, no awkward moments, no guessing.
The check-in process walks through four steps: select the child or children checking in, confirm what they’re bringing (backpack, car seat, bottle, whatever your team tracks), confirm the drop-off adult, and assign a key number. It takes under 30 seconds per family once they’ve been through it once. At checkout, the volunteer enters the key number, the system shows exactly what the child had when they arrived, and the parent hands back the key.
Every volunteer in the room sees the child’s allergy alerts and medical notes on their screen: no separate binder, no sticky notes, no hoping someone remembered to pass it along. Authorized guardians are listed. If someone tries to pick up a child who isn’t on that list, your team knows before they reach the door.
The kiosk runs on any tablet or device you dedicate to it. Volunteers clock in with a PIN. The system detects which room they’re in and which class they’re working based on the day’s schedule; they don’t have to configure anything. When one class ends and the next begins in the same room, the kiosk transitions automatically.

Rooms & Facilities

Volunteer Scheduling
Most churches manage volunteer scheduling with a spreadsheet and a lot of texts. It works until it doesn’t, and when it breaks, it breaks on a Sunday morning.
Ekkluo’s scheduler knows what role each person fills. The nursery needs one Teacher and one Helper. David and Carol serve together or not at all. Mark can only take the first and third Sundays. Two particular people should never share a room. You set those rules once, and the scheduler honors them every time you run it.
When you’re ready to fill a month, click auto-fill. The system runs through every open slot, checks every constraint (availability, frequency, role requirements, pairing rules, time conflicts across groups) and fills what it can. What it can’t fill, it surfaces so you can assign manually. Drag a name from the sidebar to any open slot. Done.
The finished schedule lives in a month and week view. Every slot shows who’s assigned and what role they’re filling. Double-bookings are flagged automatically; if the same person ends up in two overlapping groups on the same date, you see it before they do. Print the schedule when you’re ready. It formats cleanly for the bulletin board or a ministry leader’s email.
Volunteers see their own upcoming assignments. They get reminders. You stop being the person who texts everyone on Saturday.

Communication Hub

Assessments & Programs
Spiritual gifts surveys, Bible reading plans, Readers Club, church membership voting, new member orientations, and custom quizzes. Assign any program to individuals or groups, and results feed each member’s profile so you’re not cross-referencing spreadsheets later.

When someone in your congregation hits a hard stretch (rent due, utilities shutoff notice, a medical bill they can’t cover), the church shows up. Ekkluo gives your deacons the tools to handle those moments with dignity, care, and a clear process.
Members or visitors submit a request through a secure form on your church’s page. No login required. No awkward office visit. Your deacon committee receives the notification, reviews the request, and votes, right inside Ekkluo. You set the threshold: unanimous approval, simple majority, or a specific number of yes votes. When the threshold is met, the status updates automatically and you record the payment.
Every request is tracked from submission to resolution. Payment amounts, check numbers, dates, and notes all logged in one place. If your treasurer needs a record six months from now, it’s there.
Access codes let you control who can submit. Hand a code to someone who needs help before they ever have to ask publicly. The form accepts it quietly and routes the request to your committee.

SMS Messaging
Outbound SMS for service reminders, volunteer notifications, prayer chain alerts, and outreach campaigns. Messages are sent directly through Ekkluo, with no third-party app to manage.
Usage-based pricing at $0.0125 per text segment keeps costs predictable; a long text (over 160 characters) may use more than one segment. 10DLC carrier registration is included at no extra charge and typically takes 3–7 business days before texting goes live, ensuring your messages actually reach inboxes.

Ekkluo Video gives your church its own private streaming platform inside the software you already run your ministry on. Upload sermons, organize them into series, attach study guides, and go live on Sunday morning, all behind your church’s own sign-in, connected to the same member directory, roles, and permissions as everything else in Ekkluo. No pre-roll ads, no algorithmic “up next” pulling people away, no comments section to moderate, no big-tech branding.
Private by default, public when you choose. Sermons and classes are member-only; any live stream can be flipped public for outreach: per stream, your call. And because the people watching are the same people in your directory, staff permissions, audit trails, and billing live where the rest of your ministry data lives.
Members get a Sermons section in your church’s Ekkluo site, on any phone, tablet, or computer, no app install required. Series browsing, attached PDFs, a live-service banner when you’re broadcasting, and a shared link always lands people at a sign-in, never a dead end.
Staff upload from the browser (large files supported, resumable) and publish when ready; uploads and live recordings arrive unpublished so nothing goes out by accident. Create a persistent stream once and your encoder settings never change week to week: OBS, a streaming encoder, or a phone from anywhere. Simulcast pushes the same broadcast to YouTube and Facebook while members watch natively.
